Lesson 9|| Reduce Phosphate in the Boiler water
Reduce Phosphate in the Boiler water in Boiler power station, power station, What is phosphate dosing in boilers?
Dosing Procedure Initially, for an average boiler of 10tons water capacity, a quantity of 350-650grs must be used. It is important to note that no more than 100-250grs of PHOSPHATE per 10tons water capacity will ever be required on a daily basis, especially when the boiler operates with distilled water make-up.

After 02:55, how would this expansion of the casing shown in the animation not decrease the clearance even more in the bad direction? The thrust bearing and the shaft are supposed to be moving axially together with the casing expansion, but this’s not shown in the animations; as if the thrust bearing was fixed to the fundament. I think extra explanation in needed for this point.

Good video in "its day" but TOO out of date. No-one uses these instruments anymore, at least where I work, DIGITAL is the name of the game nowadays. Analog is legacy.

"INTERNATIONAL" Engineering useing imperial measurements which applies to 3% of the globe while 97% use the MUCH easier metric system based on factors of 10. It is funny how the Americans honestly think the world revolves around them.

Isnt a deaerator used to remove the non-condensable gases from the water? If so then why would you need a vacuum on top of that?

they only scratched the surface... how does the exciter create its DC output? the "rectifier" sort of... doesnt mention where that power comes from... and the generator... hang on. does it have magnets inside? this is where it starts getting weird... got small magnets spinning to make a current to create large magnets that are spinning to create massive currents... go back the other way... whats creating the little magnets in the first place?

I already used manual synchroscope in the diesel generator here in saudi arabia way back 2016. My heart beats so fast while I'm using it😅 and I was thinking that one's I made a mistake it would be a disaster in the generator. 😢 But in Jesus Christ name I did it perfectly. I close the breaker manually in the switchgear and the load continuously rise until the two generator balanced the load of 2.0MW each.

What's the difference between an arrester installed at a substation at the end of the line, vs installing them on the transmission tower? Do they both serve the same purpose and it's just needed in both places due to the zone of protection that each arrester is limited to?
